Palluello di Strà - (Venice)
It is a complex real estate compendium that summarizes the entire settlement and production structure of the "Venetian villa" in the interval between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. The countryside, planted with vines, wooded and meadows, extends for sixteen hectares. During the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the other rooms and buildings (barchesse, house for the farmers, lemon house, etc.) joined the sixteenth-century settlement matrix of the villa.
Notable Venetian and Vicentine architects such as Francesco Muttoni and Ottavio Bertotti Scamozzi took part. Note the extraordinary and intact hilly landscape that still make Villa Capra one of the most beautiful and best preserved historical compendiums of a villa in the entire Veneto area.
